This rare North American F-82 Twin Mustang, based on the North American P-51 Mustang, was designed as a long-range escort fighter for the Boeing B-29 Superfortress in World War II. F-82s also served in the Korean War. Both of the cockpits are able to control the aircraft, each has their own individual controls and gauges. This example was restored by Tom Reilly and his Restoration team.
